Moissanite Round Brilliant Jewel

Synthetic diamonds were created in 1954 by General Electric.  Synthetic diamonds are created from rocks.  This gives synthetic diamonds the refractive index, durability, and solidness of a real diamond.  The key difference is one is natural and the other is created by man.

There are also diamonds that are known as “stimulant” diamonds – common stimulant diamonds are moissanite, cubic zirconia, or glass.  The history of synthetic diamonds began in 1954 but they did not become available to the public until the 1990′s.  The reason for this was General Electric took almost 40 years to  create and produce the synthetic diamond that matched or compared to the standards of a real diamond.  Even after the many years to create a quality synthetic diamond, GE figured out that creating, producing, and selling synthetic diamonds was cost prohibitive; e.g., the cost of producing a synthetic diamond was more than the cost of mining a real diamond.

Even though GE figured out that the production of synthetic diamonds was not a profitable venture, another smaller company, Gemesis Corp., found a way to create synthetic diamonds that mirrored the quality of real diamonds.  So, Gemesis Corp, creates synthetic diamonds, both white and colored at prices that are very  affordable.  The cost of the synthetic diamond is a approximately one-third the purchase price of a real diamond.  The challenge is that these synthetic diamonds are more difficult to find and purchase than real diamonds.

Synthetic diamonds, because they replicate real diamonds, may be an initial alternative to purchasing a natural or real diamond.

Hold Onto What Matters

For most of us, the opportunity for true love comes but once in a lifetime.  If you’re one of the fortunate few, who have found their true love, then know that what you have is something to be proud of and happy about.  To honor and strengthen the bonds that tie you and your loved one together, here are 5 tips for celebrating true love:

Continue to accept

True love thrives on pure acceptance, the kind that you can give without any prejudices, expectations, or demands.  To celebrate your true love, constantly offer unconditional acceptance and refuse to judge your partner based on their choices and actions.  True love is not about teaching someone what to do through disapproval but letting them know that we may disagree with what they do but we love them nevertheless.

Honor your promise

Celebrating true love is about making good with whatever promises or vows you may have made.  Of course, things change over time and in fact, many of the choices you made in the past may not be as relevant to you today but if what you have is true love, then you have all the reasons in the world to hold true to your promise.

Remain faithful

There is no way you can celebrate true love if you cannot be trusted.  True love is about faith that the relationship you have is a gift and that you agree to honor it by refusing to be derailed by temptation or distractions.  True love needs focus and it grows stronger with every challenge that you and your partner successfully hurdle.  If trust is not a problem with either one of you, then you can be assured of a happy life together.

Remember the bad times but focus on the good

You cannot celebrate true love if you refuse to see the imperfect side of your relationship.  No matter how well your relationship is going, it’s bound to be met with a few bumps along the road.  Don’t let this worry you.  Celebrate your love by remembering the times when you had some difficulties but remember to put more value on the good things.

Let your partner grow

True love is about letting your partner find their own meaning and their own way.  Don’t be afraid of this process because everyone goes through this.  Celebrate true love by letting your partner become the best of what they can be.

Gemstones quite literally can take our breath away when we see them. Who hasn’t seen a beautiful diamond or sapphire ring and exclaimed over it? Is it only their beauty that makes them so valuable? Why else are they valuable to us?

Most gemstones are minerals that occur naturally in the earth. The most common is quartz, which is made of silicon and oxygen, two of the most common chemicals or substances on the planet. Even though most people don’t find such crystals unless specifically looking for it, it’s still relatively common in the gem world.

One quality that determines the value of a gem is how rare it is. A diamond, believe it or not, is actually a more common gemstone. However, the sales and distribution  of diamonds are tightly controlled, which keeps the demand for diamonds of any characteristic in high value. Certainly perfect, flawless diamonds are truly rare, but diamonds themselves aren’t particularly rare.

Other gemstones are much rarer, such as sapphires and rubies, which are part of the beryl family of minerals. Rubies are rarer than sapphires and top quality colors in both are extremely rare.

A mineral called benitoite is found only in the San Benito valley in California, where only a few hundred carats of it are found each year. It is the state gem of California and is a hexagonal-shaped crystal. It can be cut and polished to produce sapphire-colored gemstone jewelry.

Some gems are even rarer than bentitoite. They’re so rare, that only three or four of them exist in the world. And the location where the gemstone was found can make a big difference as well. While peridot is a fairly common gem, there were actually several carats of peridot discovered in a meteorite, making that one of the rarest gems ever!

"I DO"

Getting married then your would be thinking constantly about ordering a cake, searching for a loving engagement ring, smart formal dress and so on. The last thing to strike you would certainly be – insurance.

Well how important is insurance? Very important I’d say. Insurances can be of different types and as per your needs insurance firms can design it too. Let’s see a few of them and find out if you like any of these or not.

First, let’s talk of event insurance. Even when the ceremony takes place inside a reception hall or similar facility you could use a special event insurance cover. Here in they off load some liability towards you. Your normal home insurance policy shall not be in effect here. If the place you are hosting the ceremony requires you to have a policy then you will have to arrange one. And in case they do not ask for one then it’s still recommended that you get one.
This will specially serve you well when you are hosting a large function and serving alcohol there. Insurance will cover your reception place, the dinner party as well as wedding ceremony hall if all are differently located. And in case the party is being held at a private house then check with the owner if the insurance policy has not expired and then if additional insurance is required as a precaution.

Now let’s read about cancellation insurance that comes under wedding planning insurance too. This insurance is to protect you against any unforeseen circumstances that might require you to cancel the wedding itself.

Unfortunately if you have to cancel the wedding you would be protected from the cancellation money that would be charged from you by the vendors to whom you committed business or some expenses are left outstanding. Almost all vendors have such similar policies to collect refunds within a time frame but thereafter once the wedding date gets nearer it is hard to them collect full refunds. Such insurance can be an expensive proposition but its well worth the price when the need arises.

Some of the other insurances are where vendors are insured. Here in the vendor is required to take an insurance policy for which obviously you will pay and then if he doesn’t the work done as per contract or anything them you stand to gain. Also vendors who are regulars at wedding ceremonies take insurance cover for their profession.

When you opt for a wedding planning insurance read the policy details carefully and have all quires resolved or replied before you pay for it. Such insurances can be subscribed from Bridal Association of America, or then ask the insurance agent come over and explain it to you.

A wedding planner guide can be obtained from The Bridal Association of America for free. If you posses any sort of home, auto or renters insurance already, then consult with them then only look elsewhere.

I can understand that wedding planning insurance would certainly not be foremost on your list of things to do. But this way you can ensure the limited liability for your family and the guests too. Any policy that helps remove stress during your wedding planning period ensures happiness for one and all.
