This might be the single most important moment of your life. It’s all up to you to completely blow your partner’s mind. Where to propose? How should I ask the question? What do I say? Well here’s some tips for those that need some guidance and proposal ideas

You have quite a few options that you may choose but I would recommend one of the following:

Proposal Suggestion #1

Step 1: Take you partner to a remote location where you can spend quality time with them. Planning at this stage is very important as explained in my other articles. Make sure to pack cutlery, a formal type dress for her and a tux for you as well as some food that can be prepared with ease and a bottle of wine.

Step 2: Start by giving her the best day of her life. Treat her to a foot massage, a back massage or even bring along a gift. Treat her like a queen for the day and don’t let her lift a finger. Make sure that she feels really comfortable and do your best not to have a single fight.

Step 3: After this long fantastic day, go to bed and wait for her to fall asleep.

Step 4: Now it’s time to take action, set up a table with candles and wine with the finest cutlery that you possess. Prepare a meal that you feel would fit the occasion, if you’re not comfortable with the idea of preparing food, find a restaurant that would deliver to your location.

Step 5: Following all the arrangements you have made with dinner, it’s now time to get dressed.

Step 6: Go back to your partner and tell her that you have a surprise for her however it is required that she has to put on her finest dress. Remember to wake her gently as you don’t want her to be in a bad mood.

Step 7: Blindfold her and lead her to the dinner table. When you reveal the romantic dinner to her it would be a good idea to have some soft music coming from a car or any other music source and start off by asking her for a dance. Slowly dance with her and hold her close to you.

Step 8: After the dinner and some casual chat it’s time to “pop the question”. Make sure you prepare sufficiently before proposing. Tell her exactly what you feel and how much she means to you. Make sure you describe every detail as vivid as possible and as romantic as possible.

Step 9: Start making wedding arrangements and remember to read up on the ten crucial tips below.

Before the marriage comes the wedding. Before the wedding comes the engagement, and before that, the all-important proposal. Men are often expected to think up the most romantic ways to propose as though this gesture alone would determine her answer. Though it’s not the ultimate deciding factor, it does play a huge part, so if you’re hard-pressed for romantic ways to propose, read on.

1.	Pop the question on a candlelit dinner in a place that is memorable for the both of you.

This is how many guys do it. Not that it’s a bad thing. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to do things the classic way—a romantic dinner for two at your favorite restaurant. In fact, there is such an elegance and timelessness to it that only enhances the mood of the occasion.

You might even enlist the help of the maitre d’ should you decide on something a bit more creative, like having the ring in her champagne glass or embedded in her dessert. If it’s a Chinese restaurant, maybe you could pop the question by way of fortune cookie.

Once she’s realized what’s going on, get down on one knee, look her straight in the eyes, tell her there’s no one else you’d rather spend the rest of your life with than her, and then ask her the big question. Simple, but romantic.

2.	Plan a public proposal.

If you are absolutely sure that she will say “yes,” a public proposal is one of the most romantic ways to propose that will surely be one for the books. Do not attempt this if you feel that your partner is still unsure. With a public proposal, she may feel that you are pressing the issue and she might feel “pressured” to say yes.

However, if all that she’s waiting for is for you to pop the question, a public proposal – in a theater, a concert, a baseball game or in the middle of a huge family affair with the people that you both love – will do the trick; and it will be a moment that she can treasure forever!

3.	Be creative with your wedding proposal.

Thinking of unique and romantic ways to propose is important because the tale will surely be told from generation to generation. From something as grand as “painting” your proposal in the sky to something as simple as getting down on your knees while strolling in the park – the key is to come up with a unique way to ask the question during the most unexpected time and her heartfelt answer will take care of the rest.

Do not limit yourself to these suggestions as there are as many romantic ways to propose as there are people waiting to get hitched. Whatever you decide upon, just make sure it’ll be one truly memorable experience not only for her, but for you as well.

Romantic wedding proposals are remembered for a lifetime. So when asking for a hand in marriage, remember that you have the opportunity to create an event that will be remembered and enjoyed for many years to come. It is worth the extra effort to prepare for such a great ocassion – and to hear the magical words: “yes”.

You may be shocked to find out that better than 3/4 of women today are disappointed in the proposal they get, and you don’t want to disappoint her when you are asking her to spend the rest of life with you. Creating a special moment ensures that you both have wonderful memories of this precious time for years to come. Need a bit of help? Well, here are some great proposal ideas to consider using. Use them and you are pretty much guaranteed an emphatic “YES” from the love of your life.

Message in a Bottle Proposal

If you are looking for romantic and unique proposal ideas, a message in a bottle proposal is a wonderful idea to try. It’s simple, romantic and fun.

Preparation: Before you go get an antique bottle, use some parchment paper, and write your proposal on it (make sure you are original and romantic with the wording). Bury the bottle in the sand in an easy to locate spot.

Invite your love to go on a walk along the beach with you. Assuming all the preparation has been done, go walk with your love. Notice the bottle top sticking up and have her help you dig it up. Let her open the bottle and read your proposal. Romantically request her hand in marriage while you are kneeling on one knee with a ring in your hand. She’ll remember the moment forever, and she’ll have the bottle and proposal on parchment to keep as a memory of this important day in your lives.

Evening Picnic Dinner Proposal

Another of the many great proposal ideas out there is an evening picnic dinner proposal.

Preparation: Get a small generator and a lot of mini white lights. Find a beautiful and remote spot for a picnic, such as a private spot on the beach or a nice area in the mountains. Set up the generator and decorate it with all the white lights. Set up a small table and chairs, and have it ready for a picnic dinner.

Take her out to the dinner spot around sunset, sit her down at the table, and have a nice dinner and wine for her to eat. As the sun goes down, tell her you have a surprise for her. Go turn on the generator and let all the lights come on and dazzle her. It will take her breath away. Go to her and kneel with one knee and explain to her that she is the light in your world. Lovingly ask her to marry you.

Relaxing Getaway Proposal

More than likely your girlfriend is a busy woman. She could use a relaxing getaway and this is one of many great proposal ideas as well.

Preparation: decide on a place to go. Choose enjoyable activities that reduce stress and enable relaxation. (You will want to do this after you know she has a particular day off.)

Take her away for a day. Arrange for her to have a day off work, surprise her, and whisk her away. Make sure she does absolutely nothing. Take her to a nice resort or hotel. Let her enjoy the day in the pool, sipping nice drinks, and feed her a delicious dinner. Bring her to the hot tub in the evening to relax. When she is relaxed and you see the stress start slipping away, get on one knee and ask her to marry you. Inform her that you would enjoy pampering her for the rest of your lives.

Seashell Proposal

If you live near the beach, the seashell proposal is one of the best proposal ideas to consider.

Preparation: a bucket for shells; a beach blanket or towel. If the beach doesn’t have many shells, come prepared with lots of shells already in the bucket.

As you take a walk on the beach, pick up a lot of seashells along the way. Have her help you pick out beautiful shells to place in your bucket. Once you have a lot of shells, have her sit down on a blanket. Take the shells and write out your proposal. When you are done, get her and bring her to see your work. As she sees what you have written, get down and propose, then give her the ring. Take a camera to get a picture of the seashell proposal so you can remember it. Gather up the shells again after she says “yes,” and you can use the shells in your wedding or keep them to remember the special day by.

Most women prefer getting a diamond engagement ring to symbolize their love. Yet, some really apreciate a gemstone engagement ring instead.
spanish mortgages

Asking the love of your life to spend the rest of her days with you is not something to be done lightly. The moment, the atmosphere and above all the ring have to be as close to perfect as you can get. The choice of location is not so tricky, the right moment can be fairly tricky but the ring can outfox you completely even if it’s the most expensive one in the shop. As we all know girls like shopping, and when it comes to such a symbolic item as the ring some of them would like to be involved in the choice – even if it means ruining the surprise. A quick look on some fashion, wedding and beauty related forums and communities shows that a large per cent of ladies want to be able to choose their own engagement ring. Some want to be surprised and will be happy with whatever you choose, some will smile and say yes but later ask if they can exchange for something more their style. But my research has shown that the most popular option it seems is for you to take her into a jewelry store, pop the question there and then and let her choose the ring on the spot like in the scene in Tiffany’s from the movie “Sweet Home Alabama”. The downside being that if you had a certain budget in mind it’s just gone out the window… Now not every girl will want to choose her own ring. There is a large proportion who will want you to choose it for them and will wear whatever you give them with unquestionable pride and love.A lot depends on certain elements beyond your control, for example does she have competitive friends who will look straight at ‘the rock’ and comment on its size and value? Does she make a lot of effort picking out her outfits and like to have complete control over how she looks all the time? How do you find out if she wants to be completely swept off her feet or if she wants to pick out her own engagement ring without ruining the surprise and moment when you pop the question?Well there is the proposal in the jewelry store option and there is another which my research has also shown as a popular solution. 2 ways of doing it actually:1.Just buy the diamond and present it to her when you propose – this way she can choose the setting and even exchange it for another one and you still give her something nice, sparkly and expensive. 2.Buy a placeholder ring from somewhere like bidz.com so she can wear something until you both choose the ring of her choice. When I proposed to my girlfriend I got the wrong size ring so we had to take it back to be resized. There was no way to know her ring size without giving the game away and luckily she was more than happy with my choice. So don’t sweat too much over the right ring, give her something be it a diamond or a placeholder then you can go online to some of the sites that let you design your own unique ring and everyone’s happy.

Most people only experience a marriage proposal once in their lifetimes, so you’ll want it to be memorable and perfect. After you’ve gotten up the nerve to ask, you might have trouble finding a creative way to pop the question. To help you out, here are some romantic and unique marriage proposal ideas that are sure to make a big impression.

Idea #1:

Take your sweetheart to the exact place where you had your first date. Reminisce a little, and then say something like “We’ve had an amazing journey together so far, and now I think we’re ready to take the next step in that journey. I’m hoping you’ll do me the honor of marrying me.”

Idea #2:

Another great marriage proposal idea is to take her someplace where she’s never been before but has always wanted to go. Make it a surprise for as long as you can hold out. Then, when you get there, on the very last night, just before you’re ready to go home, you present her with a “souvenir” from their trip. When she opens it up, inside she’ll find, along with whatever other items you have in there, her engagement ring. She’ll eat it up and she’ll never see it coming.

Idea #3:

Play a trivia game together. When it is your sweetheart’s turn, casually say “Your question is: Will you marry me?” rather than the question written on the card.

Give one of these a shot. Or, check out the link in my signature for more great wedding proposal ideas.

Your Hand in Marriage provides assistance in all aspects of the proposal, starting with unique and romantic marriage proposal ideas, working with the client to conceptualize the proposal, guidance in selecting the engagement ring, choosing a venue for the proposal to take place at and if desired they can actually be there, behind scenes overseeing the order of events as they occur until the moment that she says the magic words, “I Do!” Why propose on a vacation? It is that rare time when you are taken out of your daily lives and can be carefree; where the world’s events and stresses of home melt away. There is no one perfect way to propose, but planning to ask for your girlfriend’s hand in marriage while on a romantic vacation is a good place to start. Your Hand In Marriage offers four tips to prepare for the big question: v Select the right destination: Remember that this proposal is suppose to be magical for both of you. Make sure your destination is aligned with the sort of proposal you are imagining and she’s dreaming of. v Plan: The last thing you want to do on your vacation is plan your proposal from scratch and lose time with the one you love. Research contacts and the set up should all be arranged before you get away. v Have a back up: Scrambling the night of your dream proposal can ruin your mood and the moment. Since you are in a different state or country, have multiple ideas and contacts all ready to go. v Celebrate: Whether it is with champagne or just in each others arms, there is no rush to do anything other than enjoy the moment. “Helping to create unique and magical proposals is what we do,” said Corbin Saunders, president and founder of Your Hand in Marriage. “Whether it’s general advice or hands on coordination, our goal is to help bring your dream proposal to life.”About Your Hand in Marriage

So, you want to propose marriage to your sweetheart but you don’t want to do the same old tired, “down on one knee at the restaurant” routine? Well, fear not. In this article, I’m going to share three stunning marriage proposal ideas that will have your sweetheart remembering this day for the rest of her life. If anything, she may remember it even more than her wedding day. Keep reading to find out what they are. This is probably one of my favorites. It’s a little unusual, but it’s truly one that is unforgettable. It WILL take some planning however. Essentially, what you’re going to do is arrange one of those mystery weekends. You know, where everybody acts out a part in a play to find out who the “murderer” is. Except in this play, you arrange to have your proposal to your bride-to-be at the end of the skit. Make sure there is dramatic music played by a string orchestra to go with it. Yes, it’s right out of a movie. It’s romantic – and she’ll love it.Another great marriage proposal idea is to take her somewhere where she’s never been before but has always wanted to go. Make it a surprise for as long as you can hold out. Then, when you get there, on the very last night, just before you’re ready to go home, you present her with a “souvenir” from your trip. When she opens it up, inside she’ll find, along with whatever other items you have in there, her engagement ring. She’ll be delighted, and she’ll never see it coming. Finally, tell her that you want to play ‘Deal or No Deal’. She’ll look at you like you’re a bit crazy at first, but eventually she’ll say ‘sure’. What you do is tell her that she has to let YOU pick the box. Now, inside the box that you pick is going to be her engagement ring, except she doesn’t know that. And you have to do everything you can to try to get her to give up the box. The more you push, the more she’ll want to keep it until finally she opens it and finds her engagement ring. That’s when you take it out, put it on her finger, and say, “Will you marry me?”Give one of these a shot. Or, check out the link for more great marriage proposal ideas.

When proposing marriage, there are seven common courtesies you should always remember, I call these courtesies, marriage proposal etiquette.

1. First and foremost, the most important courtesy is also the most obvious…Always! and I mean Always! purchase an engagement or marriage ring before proposing. This act shows your bride to be that you are thoughtful, classy, responsible and seriously ready to commit exclusively to her.

2. Aquaint yourself with the brides parents and get their blessing. This may sound old-fashioned or like funny marriage advice, but doing this is a surefire way of gaining her parents favor and love.

3. A well thought out plan is one of the principles of success, as a rule of thumb, make sure you plan out exactly how your going to propose to your future wife.

4. Timing is everything, when proposing marriage to your bride to be, always do it in a place where the both of you are mentally and emotionally comfortable, and relaxed. Proposing marriage in the hustle and bustle of the day or when either one of you is mentally drained would not be advantageous for you.

5. Another key to successful engagement etiquette is communication, be certain that marriage is something that the both of you truly desire and have communicated to be a future goal in your lives.

6. Remember to make this a private moment for just the two of you, never propose at another person’s event, (such as birthday parties, wedding receptions, etc.). It is important to give everyone’s special moment the same care and respect that you would give your own.

7. Make sure that you have tied up all loose ends or brought closure to all past relationships. There is nothing more confusing or chaotic than a third party in your relationship. When proposing marriage, you owe it to yourself and to your future wife to start off on a clean, drama free slate.

Follow these seven tips and your bride to be will forever know, that on her proposal day, you were the one who showed gentleness, thoughtfulness and love.
